no one can even possibly know how much this song means to me right now. i feel alone... and me heart is trying to hold myself together... i feel torn... i have so much to think about now. this song is helping me though... i would like to send a big shout out to barlow girl... you are amazing... i saw you in concert at big ticket in 2008. your musice means so much to me... i can relate to every one of your songs... you are making a difference in my life.

Couldn't agree more. I don't believe in any religion myself, but this is a beautiful song nonetheless. And like you say, even though the band are singing about God, the lyrics can still be applied to anyone's personal situation as they please - that's the beauty of good writing.

Does anyone besides me like this song just for the song? Sure, it's a Christian band, but I'm agnostic and though I see the connection to God in it, I am also able to see how it pertains to other things, like love and relationships. I like this song (and not for the sake of the band or religion) and I appreciate how it can achieve multiple meanings.
