yeah but he said he also uses pro tools too. you can get away with using cubase for beat making and demo mixing, but pretty much all the final mixdowns of your favorite songs are done on pro tools. not just music too, but even film scores. all the orchestral recordings would be gathered and mastered in pro tools

actually he didn't use garageband just the sounds can import into other sequencers like logic or protools
