I swear gears 1 looks better,i am not trying to be a fanboy or nothing. I have both games and wouldn't lie. I seen textures on the environments in mgs 4 and they aren't pretty at all. The skin on the characters don't look realistic,it seems to use the engine mgs 3 did because the skins are similar.

"First Gears looks far better" LOL! that made my day. the first gears looks like a bunch of pixelated junk thrown into a ball of shiny contrast mixed in a pile of shitty resolution. stop kidding yourself... Although despite all of this, i still think the xbox kicks the shit out of ps3 any day

mgs 4 definitely doesn't have better graphics. i have mgs 4 and even signed by kojima. it looks like mgs 3 in high res,the first gears looks far better.

do you even read over what you type before you send it? Or are you trying to be a fanboy? First you go into graphics, you try and make another arguement that has nothing to do with the original. MGS4=better graphics Halo&Gears=Better online. having shiny graphics doesnt just make a good game. And having a server full of xbox newbs doesnt make it great either. Any other arguement you want me to win?

that movie sucks,a movie with 5 hours of gameplay. That's why gears and halo 3 outsold that pos movie. that movie tried and copy gears cover system lmao.

lol blu ray the gimmick. the disk speed is slower because of blu ray.which is why there is forced installs. 360 has a more powerful gpu,it is not being pushed to the limit. all multiplatform looks worse because it has a lack of ram in it. ps3 has 256 ram and 360 has 512 ram.

im a wii fan i dont have a ps3 and 360, ps3 has blu ray, and the only reason why you think 360 has better graph is because they are pushing it to its limit, the ps3 can surpass the 360, the only reason why it has some bad looking games is because it is hard for 3rd party developers to make a real ps3 game, you'll see many more graphic games as the years go by
